Brian
Walter
Lead Fitness Instructor
walter.brian@mccg.org
Brian Walter initially attended Cortland State University
on a baseball scholarship as a pitcher, and later transferred
to Kennesaw State University, graduating with a Bachelor's
Degree in Sport Management and a minor in exercise physiology.
Since then, he has been personal training, teaching fitness
classes, helping people reach their goals, and staying fit
himself. Class examples include Circuit Training (TNT), Spinning
(Group Cycling), Weight Loss, and Strength training to achieve
overall fitness. Brian is known for his emphasis on staying
fit naturally, emphasizing that he himself exercises only
about 30 minutes a day and does not skip meals. He also prefers
the use of natural foods over artificial sweeteners, and emphasizes
portion control, proper nutrient balance, and exercise. Brian
encourages people to stay fit at all ages; and he emphasizes
realistic, real-life solutions to weight control and fitness.
Brian supports a balanced program of exercise and proper diet,
and encourages people to stay away from fad diets or "crazy
claims" for quick fixes.
