Ashley Lord

Ashley grew up in Gray, Georgia where she now resides. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health Education with a concentration in Community Health and Human Services at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. During her senior year, Ashley completed her internship here at The Wellness Center. Recently, Ashley has become the Lead Fitness Coordinator and has recieved training to become a Smoking Cessation facilitator and has obtained her CPR instructor certification. Ashley also works with the Power Over Parkinson's (POP) program here at The Wellness Center. Ashley enjoys the challenge of figuring out how to motivate people individually to obtain their fitness goals.
Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys supporting and watching Georgia football games. In addition, she enjoys organized sports such as softball and golf.

James Davis

James grew up in Macon, GA. He received a B.S. degree in Exercise Science at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. He also received a minor in Marketing at GC&SU. He formerly worked with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at HeartWorks, a service of The Medical Center of Central Georgia. He now serves as a fitness instructor at The Wellness Center. James enjoys working with people to help them reach their goals to lose weight, get fit or rehabilitation from a heart procedure. He also enjoys the challenge of coming up with new and exciting routines so that others will realize a healthier lifestyle.

Dave Grimsley

Dave grew up in Macon, GA. He is a graduate of Georgia College State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Health Education with a concentration in Kinesiology, a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Music Education as well. Coinciding with the Kinesiology degree, he has also successfully tested through the American College of Sports Medicine to be a Certified Personal Trainer. His interest in health education and training skills has expanded to include Water Safety Instruction, Lifeguarding, CPRO, Waterfront and First Aid, all through the American Red Cross; CPR from the American Heart Association; Silver Splash, MSROM (Muscle Strength and Range of Motion) and Cardio training through SilverSneakers; and finally has been a martial arts instructor earning a 3rd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is currently working on a Masters of Education in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Performance, personal training programs with the TRX system and AquaLogix Fitness, as well as a certification in Yoga instruction.

Dana Bittenbender

Dana was born and raised in Macon, Georgia and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from Georgia State University. She opened her own personal training company, “In House Fitness” in 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia training some of your favorite celebrities. In 1988, Dana also claimed a World Record title for a 125 foot high dive in Germany. After injuring both ankles as a professional stunt diver for the US High Diving team, she fell in love with track cycling on the Velodrome. She was the alternate to the 1996 USA Olympic Cycling team and 1996 Olympic Envoy to the country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. She then met her future husband and cyclist, Dave Bittenbender. They lived in Del Mar, California and opened a women’s shoe boutique, Cedros Soles. Both Dave and Dana paddled on USA Dragon Boat teams for World Championships in 2004 in Beijing, China, and they still enjoy surfing and paddling. They sold the business to move back to Macon to be near family with their son, David Kelly Bittenbender who attends Alexander II. She coaches and teaches swimming at Swim Macon and Stratford Academy, and still enjoys cycling, stand up paddling, and being a mom most of all!

Joshua Pritchett

Joshua graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. While at UGA, Joshua became certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as a personal trainer and worked in the Recreational Sports Department at the University of Georgia for over a year. While there Joshua had great success with many clients and helped them achieve their goals. At the age of 17, Joshua experienced a weight loss of over 100 pounds through diet and exercise and became dedicated to maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle. This personal experience drove him towards his degree in Exercise & Sport science and is reflected in his training style and personal interactions with those around him. Josh enjoys the challenge of finding ways to inspire people to improve their fitness and finding workout routines that keep people interested and involved in exercising.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys spending time with family and friends, and he enjoys doing anything outdoors. Josh also continuously looks for new ways to work out or improve his fitness level.
