PILATES
Developed by Joseph Pilates, this graceful exercise method
proceeds through a flow of elongation and strength movements
that create a power center in the abdominal, spinal and buttocks
regions of your body. Exercises can be performed on the mat
or may utilize equipment which can either increase or decrease
difficulty. Equipment includes the reformer/cadillac, split-pedal
stability chair, ladder barrel or stability ball.
PERSONAL
TRAINING
A fitness session will be tailored to your specific needs.
It may include cardio-training, strength, flexibility and
breathing exercises. Mats and various equipment will be used.
BODY
ROLLING
This self-directed healing method was developed by Yamuna
Zake over 20 years ago. You will perform a series of routines
using a six to ten inch reinflatable ball to stretch muscles,
freeing restrictions in all parts of your body, increasing
blood flow and promoting healing. This method once learned,
will empower you to tone, strengthen and realign your own
body to prevent and fix many musculoskeletal problems.
CARDIO
At Cor Pilates, our name (cor is Latin for 'heart')
denotes our belief that cardio fitness is central to your
good health. We provide elliptical trainers for your day's
cardio workout or just to warm up prior to your appointment.
MVE
CHAIR WORKOUTS
The redesigned Pilates Wunda chair is used for small group
synergized, heart-pumping, music - driven workouts. The MVe
chair bridges the gap betwen the Pilates studio and group
exercise room. Athletic and strong, you'll see maximum
results while enjoying studio-level personal attention.
